Tiffany Haddish told The Hollywood Reporter about a conversation she claimed to have had with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Haddish, told The Hollywood Reporter about a conversation she claimed to have had with “The Revenant” actor.
“Yes, I met him at a party two or three months ago, and I asked him if he would let me get that,” she said to the publication in the profile. “He: ‘Tiffany, you are so funny.'”
But for Haddish, 38, it was not to laugh.
“I’m like I’m serious,'” she went on. “And then he goes,” I mean, I would do it, but … ” I was like, ‘Come on, you were not in a team?'” to refer to a vulgar nickname Hollywood made for DiCaprio and his group of famous friends.
“I said to him, ‘My only condition: I want it with you if you character in ‘What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,’ ” she continued. “He starts bustin’ up laughin.'”
DiCaprio played a mentally disabled person in 1993 the film, which also starred Johnny Depp in the lead role.

Haddish said that DiCaprio, 43, asked her the reason.
“I say, Because I have the feeling that the performance deserves a real reward, and reward is this (motions to her own body),'” she recalled.
Haddish further, “He starts goin’ in, how he is his role, how he worked with these children, and all these things, and I’m just listenin’ and listenin’, ‘Mmm-mmm, mmm-hmm.’ I finally go, ‘All that is good, I just need to know When this is going to happen?'”
DiCaprio received a best supporting Oscar nomination for his role in the movie, but Tommy Lee Jones ended up winning the picture at the 1994 Oscars for “The Fugitive.”
