Tiffany Haddish revealed she was raped at 17 by a police cadet in a new interview with Glamour published on Tuesday.

The actress revealed in her Glamour cover story that she was raped when she was 17 years old, by a police cadet.
Haddish, who co-stars in “The Last O. G.,” said she reported the incident at the time, but don’t know if that was enough. “That whole experience put me in such a messed up place for a long time,” she said, “and I went to the counseling.”

“Me just shouting out the names of people with no thought behind it is meaningless. I’ve got a plan,” Haddish shared. “I would be a voice, but what a voice to go do, just continue to talk? Or is there action behind it?”
As a result, Haddish said, she maintains a defensive front in order to protect themselves against unwanted advances from men.
“I notice that men are afraid of women that are aggressive. So to protect myself, I have semi-aggressive,” she explained. “You hear, ‘Tiffany always hitting on someone,” but that is to prevent them to hit on me.”
