Authorities say Dodson was found Saturday by Texas delegates in Lubbock, more than 100 kilometers southeast of the prison.

“I hate to say this, but I was not really surprise,” Art Scott, who works near the prison, told KRQE. “It has happened.”

The Curry County facility has seen more than a dozen prisoners escape since 2002, according to KRQE.

The three men in general, is being held on a number of charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, trafficking controlled substances, child abuse, identity theft, and more.
