Three dental practices are closed due to bad care
Three dental practices in Hoogeveen, Groningen and Emmen, under one director are governed and must remain shut until they improve the quality of care can guarantee.
The Inspection for Health care (health care inspectorate) noted this summer, “serious deficiencies” in all three practices. They did not meet the requirements to prevent infections and to those in the field of radiology, dossiervoering and organization.
“Because the shortcomings are so extensive and severe, there is a danger to the safety and/or health of patients. Therefore it is necessary that dental practices close, and there should be no care will be given,” according to the inspection.
The practices will still take a few days remain shut.
