Thousands of people in Bogota have begun to argue for peace with FARC

In the Colombian capital Bogota are thousands of people taking to the streets, merged during a protest march. The protesters want the politicians and the FARC is still an acceptable peace agreement is close.

The protesters call it the “March of the Flowers” and wore it for that reason flowers.

This government and FARC signed in september a peace agreement, reached after four years of difficult negotiations but in October painful the meantime, by the population. A small majority rejected the treaty in a referendum because the conditions are too mild for FARC members.

The protesters of the “March of the Flowers” want the Colombian government and FARC, the break through the impasse which after the referendum has been created and yet find a solution acceptable to all.
