This mysterious new Android phone can do something your iPhone can’t

There are several interesting Android-based devices in the works, and one of them is supposed to launch really soon. No, it is not the OnePlus 5, although that one also eligible. It is Andy Rubin is of Essential importance, a flagship device to compete directly with the iPhone 8, the Galaxy S8, and every other high-end Android device you can think of. We don’t know much about the Essential telephone at this time, other than the intention to be an edge-to-edge screen and offer a feature unseen on the iPhone until now.

We got our first Essential glimpse of a couple of months ago, when Andy Rubin posted on the image above.

Then, on Thursday, the official Essential Twitter account came online bullying is something “big” for next week. Apparently, the phone should be unveiled on May 30.

Hours later, Key tweeted a picture, a telephone, complete with a strange accessory on the top. No one could blame you if you thought it was a camera. It is probably the kind of add-on that makes sense.

Yes, it seems the Essential phone will have a 360-degree camera accessory for the VR and AR. The image also seems to suggest that there is a type of connector placed on the top of the phone to confirm that the camera.

Looking back on Rubin’s previous tweets, it should be no surprise to hear that the Essential is also working on VR/AR camera. After all, everyone is interested in these technologies, and smartphones now have the technical skills that support VR and AR.

But Rubin already teased last month that it is Essential, is working on a device that would be a 360-degree video recording capabilities:
