Third priest in a week’s time murdered in Mexico
A roman catholic priest who last week in Mexico was kidnapped Saturday was found dead. It is the third priest in a week’s time who was murdered in the Central American country, reports BBC.
The body of Jose Alfredo Lopez Guillen was near the town of Puruandiro in the western state of Michoacán found. He was, according to prosecutors, a few days before that shot.
On the day that Lopez Guillen was kidnapped, were the bodies of two other priests found in Veracruz on the east coast. Also, they are with a bullet to life. According to sources within the Mexican church would Lopez Guillen first time are robbed, before he from his house, was kidnapped.
The two earlier murders seem to be no link with the death of Lopez Guillen.
The states of Veracruz and Michoacan are already for years plagued by drug violence and organized crime.
