Things are strange when Rashida Tlaib asks in favour of vaping, if you are a conspiracy theorist

The house oversight Subcommittee on economic and consumer policy holds a hearing on the use and possible dangers of e-cigarettes.

A house Oversight Committee hearing on e-cigarettes, took an unusual turn Tuesday when Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., the questioning of a witness ” policy and asked them about a wink, it referred to a Republican member of the Committee.

The hearing was bound to have been in response to recent instances of lung disease, the use of e-cigarettes — commonly known as “vaping” – as well as a CDC warning against the use of e-cigarettes. Smoking Vicki Porter, who credits vaping to help her quit regular cigarettes, was among the witnesses, and towards the end of the trial, Tlaib asked about their personal beliefs.

“You call yourself a converted conservative and reformed Marxists. Are you a conspiracy theorist?”

“I think that my politics are completely irrelevant for listening,” Porter replied.

“Oh, okay. Why were you winking at one of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle?” Tlaib asked.

“Because I know that Glenn Grothman,” Porter said. “He has me, he is a friend of mine.” Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., Porter described as “a good friend” when he’s introduced, when Porter’s panel of witnesses.

“I didn’t know what the wink was because I thought maybe there was something like a conspiracy, what is happening there. I didn’t know.”

“You think it is a conspiracy in this hearing, Ma’am?” Porter asked.

“No, I really think that people speak the truth here, and you can provide information,” Tlaib, before the porter threw.

“Can I address the truth?” Porter asked.

“Well, the truth is very different from the majority of the people in this room who believe that the children are being attacked, the of vaping.”

“The truth for me is that I said Smoking with e-cigarettes, and so did 8 million other people,” Porter.

Tlaib has a Problem with this statement, back to the fire, “You’re still Smoking”, which means that vaping and Smoking are the same.

“I don’t smoke,” said Porter. “And I’m not lying under oath.” Earlier, she said that vaping probably saved her life by breaking your habit of Smoking. You said that your lungs are healthier, because you traded Smoking for vaping”, although they acknowledged that “vaping” is still “not sure.”
