Thieves steal $1M in the fur of the luxury Manhattan store

NEW YORK – the Police are looking for three thieves with a penchant for designer clothes who stole more than $1 million dollars from the fur of a store in Manhattan’s chic Madison Avenue.

The theft happened on christmas Eve, after one of the suspects threw a stone through the window of the Dennis Basso Inc. shop just for 5 hours

Owner Dennis Basso says that the thieves, with a number of Russian sable coats, some of which were valued as high as $200,000.

Achilleas Georgiades, a store executive, says he can’t believe that something like this happened in the “civilized” Madison Avenue.

Surveillance video captured one of the suspects being struck in the head by a metal bar after climbing through the shattered window.

PETA officials say that the theft should be Basso right for guys with fur.
