The Big Sick does a little bit of thought to the heartwarming series, Master of None. In the film, we see the New York stand-up comedian Kumail and Emily, who after a one night stand madly in love. The Pakistani parents of Kumail, by contrast, prefer a woman from their own culture for their son, and decide him to marry. If Emily wants to fight for their relationship, but Kumail in doubt, they go out together after a big dispute. It turns out Emily is so sick that she is in a coma fighting for his life. To the annoyance of her parents is different Kumail then no more of Emily’s side. The comedic film The Big Sick is the true love story between comedian Kumail Nanjiani and his wife, hailed as the romantic comedy of the year.
