These are the most (and least) vegetariërvriendelijke countries of Europe

More and more people remove for various reasons in their meat consumption. For them (and for anyone who’s curious about the vegetarian kitchen), blogger Jakub Marian card which has the most (and least) vegetariërvriendelijke European countries.

The figures that you see on the map, are the number of vegetarian restaurants per one million inhabitants. Belgium thus has the 5.8 vegetarian restaurants per million inhabitants. This shows our country as a very vleesminnend: Central Europe gets only France has a lower score. Iceland gets the highest score, and also Austria and the Czech republic (in view of their vleesrijke national kitchen yet amazingly) high scores.

For which these figures are based Marian on data from the ‘vegetarian version of TripAdvisor’ Happycow.net. He warns that the figures for small countries may be misleading: for instance, in Andorra, just a vegetarian restaurant, but since the state of 80.000 inhabitants, says the map that there is a 12.6-vegetarian restaurants per 1 million inhabitants.
