The “worst passenger ever” caught after punching a flight attendant in groin

An irate mother called the “worst passenger ever” struck a flight attendant in the soldiers after downing half a bottle of wine and two vodka’s at an airport bar.

Sozzled Helen Butcher left passengers in tears after launching into a foul-mouthed rant on the TUI aircraft from Manchester to Kos.

The 51-year-old had knocked back half a bottle of wine on the way to the airport, then sank two vodka’s in the bar before boarding her 3:50 p.m. flight on 27 June last year.

She flew into a rage after the cabin crew not to serve her any more drinks and repeatedly told the staff on the four-hour flight to “F— off”.

After ordering a gin and tonic on the plane, a Butcher, then hit a male flight attendant in the genitals because he “intense pain”.

She flew into a rage after the cabin crew not to serve her any more drinks and repeatedly told the staff on the four-hour flight to “F— off”.

Butcher is now sentenced for 21 weeks at Manchester Crown Court after admitting two counts of assault, one count of being drunk on an aircraft and one count of use of threatening words or behaviour.

The court heard Butcher, who flew with her daughter had to be given a written warning from the captain about her behaviour.

When the cabin manager went to talk to her, she grabbed his face with her hands and said: “I am deaf and I can lip-read or just f— off.”

He later said that Butcher’s behavior was the worst he had encountered in his 20-year career.

Butcher was also on the aircraft was in the descent and continued to shout abuse, before being removed from the aircraft upon arrival in Kos.

The staff found a liter of vodka in a bag, which she denied drinking, and the passengers said the start of their holidays were “ruined”.

The defense, Raquel Simpson said Butcher accepted her behaviour was “terrible” and wanted apologies from the staff and the passengers on the flight.

She said Butcher has a long-standing problem with alcohol, and has more drunk in the last few years as a way of dealing with the death of her father.
