Some people who say that they were on board the plane with the Fisher took to social media to share the news.

Don’t know how else to handle it, but Carrie Fisher stopped breathing on the flight home. Hope she’s gonna be OK ????

So many thanks to the United crew that jumped into action, and the awesome doctor and nurse passengers who have helped

Weird feeling, even tweeting about it, but I JUST finished her book and was fangirling over the sight of her dog Gary in person. Gah.
