Kelley Gregory, 35, was arrested for alleged approach of a woman in an attempt to kidnap her baby.
A Denver mother allegedly was forced to run behind a baby snatcher who tackled her from behind, have her stroller and left with her daughter, according to the officials.
The police said that the kidnapping suspect, Kelly, Gregory, 35, approached the mother Sunday afternoon in Denver and asked if she could get her 7-month-old girl, news station KDVR reported.
The mother, who was pushing a pram, told Gregory that she could not because they are “in a hurry”, according to news station WFOR.
Gregory went to follow them before the mother and stealing the stroller, the officials said.
She started to walk away with the girl from the baby when the mother chased her, according to the authorities.
