‘The Walking Dead’ Season 8 finale and ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Season 4 premiere for theatre treatment

As anticipation for the Season 8 finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” was not high enough, the network is the cooperation with the Unfathomable events of the crossover event extra special.

The network announced Thursday that it not only brings “The Walking Dead” finale on the big screen, but the following Season 4 premiere of the spin-off series “Fear the Walking Dead,” where the first crossover character, Morgan, will make his grand appearance.

In a special one-night-only screening on April 15, “Dead” fans can enjoy the “Survival Sunday” event in more than 750 participating cinemas across the country. The latest episode of the flagship series’ eighth season will be immediately followed by “the Fear of the Walking Dead’ Season 4. As if that wasn’t enough of a reason to grab your favorite walker, fan and rush to get tickets, the cinema event will also feature exclusive bonus content that will be announced in the coming weeks. So even if you are fully committed to be your weekly view of the party, there is additional content worth the price of the ticket for the die-hard fans.

Tickets can be purchased through Fathom Events beginning March 16 or at the participating theatre box offices. However, if you are a TWD Fan Rewards Club member, you can get your tickets as soon as possible. The impressions start live at 8:30 pm ET with a tape delay for the fans in Alaska and Hawaii.

“Sunday, April 15, is an epic and long awaited moment for this series, when worlds collide when Morgan crosses over from ‘The Walking Dead’ and in the new world of ‘Fear,'” Theresa Beyer, SVP of Brand Activation for AMC said in a statement. “We are pleased to work together with our great partners at the Fathom will offer fans from around the country the chance to give this crossover moment in such a special way and among the other members of one of tv’s most passionate fan communities.”

For those not familiar, “Fear the Walking Dead” takes place years before the events of “The Walking Dead.” Details about Morgan’s involvement with the earlier storyline is kept under wraps, but fans will remember that he spent a large part of the beginning of the storyline on his own solo journey. It seems that solo-journey allowed him to cross-breed with the survivors on “Fear.”
