“I’m very, very grateful to be here still,” Novak told Fox 35. “So, what I’m hoping to do this is to encourage people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts to reach out and asked for help.”
While the journey has not been easy, Novak has found to help all along the way. “Everywhere I go, people want to help me be successful,” Novak told the outlet. “Well, I’ve been in the strangers’ feet and ask for water, and did not just fill up my water, but it should provide me with a place to stay for the night and have a meal.”

“I have a 2,738 mile to my feet and, as of right now, March,” Novak continued. “It’s been a very good summer.”
