Grassley, Graham search, investigations in Christopher Steele
Fox News senior judicial analyst judge Andrew Napolitano reacts, if the evidence is there for a probe.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley accused, the top Democrat on the house Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, is that a “tired and unsubstantiated” claim that Grassley was is to special counsel Robert Müller Hiking Russia investigation.
In an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Schiff, D-Calif., Grassley, R-Iowa, the try as “part of the same effort together with [House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes] accused the FBI Bob Mueller – examination put to the test.”
Last week, Grassley and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S. C., released a criminal referral she had sent to the Ministry of justice asked at the beginning of this year, for an investigation into Christopher Steele, the former British spy, who compiled the so-called “Trump-Russia-dossier.”
Grassley and Graham said that they found evidence that either Steele song, the FBI, or classified documents, the government’s surveillance of the former trump campaign consultant Carter page contain incorrect statements.
At the end of Sunday, Grassley spokesman Taylor Foy not fired back at the ship, said in a statement that the Steele-says-reference “with a word critical of Müller.”
“If the ship (or someone else) is going to claim that it is Grassley’s intention to undermine the Mueller probe, you should take it back with actual evidence or back and apologize for questioning the motives of their colleagues, said, without any basis,” Foy. “Otherwise, you are just your own prejudices.”
In a memo released earlier this month, Nunes, and other House Intelligence Committee, Republicans accused the FBI and justice Department say, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, enough about Steele’s anti-Trump feelings, or his work has been funded in part by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
The Democrats on the Committee, led by the ship have claimed that the memo “cherry-picked” details. They noted that Federal law enforcement authorities, the court had informed about the political origins of the Steeles, some of his information was confirmed by the FBI and other evidence, which was used to the warranty.
President Trump is blocking the release of a Democratic rebuttal of the GOP memo Friday, citing national security concerns. The President claimed that the democratic memo was meant to be a trap, “the debt of the White house for a lack of transparency” and urged the Democrats to “re-do and send you back into the right shape!”
