Police in Cleveland are searching for a suspect seen on the video, the corruption of the city, the 125-year-old Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument.

The alleged crime happened about 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, not long after, the inside of the monument, which was closed for the day, at Cleveland, FOX 8 reported.

Surveillance video shows three people walking around the monument, which is provided with a base, and a group of civil war soldiers prepare to fire a cannon.

One of the three, then climb to the statue, and this is a part of the gun, the station reported.

The broken piece was later recovered, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect will be charged with a criminal offense under federal law, the Ted Prosse, the president of the city, and the memorial of the commission, told FOX 8.

The monument is a tribute to the more than 9,000 Cuyahoga County residents who, during the civil war, according to the report.

In 2015, three of the suspects have been convicted and sentenced to community service and ordered to pay more than $10,000 in restitution after damage of the monument, which was Cleveland.com have been reported.
