The police surround San Jose home where an escaped prisoner would be

SAN JOSE, California. – The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s SWAT team has surrounded an east San Jose home where they believe that an escaped prisoner may be hiding.

KNTV reports (http://bit.ly/2ggXC7L ) Tuesday that in the near Overfelt high School is also placed on lockdown.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office says Rogelio Chavez and Laron Campbell escaped with two other prisoners last Wednesday evening of the Santa Clara County main jail by cutting through the bars of a second story window, and then descend to the ground on a sheet. The others were quickly arrested.

Chavez and Campbell are facing possible life sentences if convicted for burglary, extortion, false imprisonment and other charges for which they were detained. Chavez had been in prison since August, and Campbell since February 2015
