The police have reported the theft of a speed enforcement device is not being used to catch speeders

Pennsylvania police are on the lookout for the thief, that is, a speed is reached, enforcement unit, as the officers were catching speeders.

Fleetwood Police have released a surveillance picture of the vehicle involved in the Monday theft in Richmond Township.

“At about 4:10 a.m., the driver of the pictured vehicle backed up to the device and to the receiver, and a battery charger/power supply in the boot of the car while the officers had been involved in a traffic stop,” police said on Thursday. “The driver then completed a U-turn and fled north on 222.”

The police were offering a reward for information about the thief and the device’s place of residence.

The thief turned out to be his followers, the people who left comments on the department’s Facebook page.

“Thank you for your service, a mystery driver in a white car,” wrote one person.
