An armed man who allegedly tried to rob a cell phone store in Philadelphia, pennsylvania, on Monday, was shot and killed by an employee at a dramatic moment captured on video.

The Philadelphia Police Department said the incident happened just after 4 a.m. at a Metro PCS store in the south-west part of the town, when an unidentified man, who appeared to be in his late 30s, entered the business.

The man was trying to rob the store as the lone employee inside — they have a license to carry a gun — was fired at the robber several times, striking him with it.
