The parents of the missing Wisconsin man head to Slovenia to search

MADISON, Wis. – The parents of a Wisconsin man who went missing during a holiday in Slovenia have left for Europe to assist in the search.

Five-and-twenty-year-old Jonathan Luskin was on a family vacation in Europe when he decided to extend the trip, while the rest of his family returned to the U.S.

Luskin told a friend on June 22, that he was going to hike the Triglav National Park in the northeast of Slovenia. His mother, Susan Stone, said they indicated that they Luskin is missing the AMERICAN Ministry of foreign affairs after not hearing from him for weeks.

WMTV-TV reports Stone and her husband, Allan Luskin, on board a plane Sunday to Slovenia. Stone said Monday that they met with the AMERICAN Embassy and the local authorities.

Jonathan Luskin is currently working as a teacher in Hong Kong.
