The NYPD are looking for a 14-year-old boy, described as a person of interest in the murder case.
The NYPD, the teen wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a Barnard College student, Tessa Major, after a week of searching.
“We have to have these individuals. A big thank you to everyone that has been reached with the information,” the NYPD’s Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison tweeted on Thursday.

It was not immediately clear whether the teenager, who police have not publicly identified, was in custody, or where he was found.
Harrison said: “the investigation is still active and ongoing.

Major, 18, was attacked and knifed to death on Dec. 11 at Morningside Park. The three teenagers are aged between 13-and 14-year-old is thought to be involved in the attack.
A 13-year-old boy is accused of the attack on the first-year student, testified in court Nov. 13 he gave the knife to his friend, and then inserted to the Majors, as brutal as he saw it, the “feathers out of her coat.”
The 13-year-old, whose name is not being used by Fox News because he is a minor, has been charged with second-degree murder, first-and second-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, he was ordered held without bail by a New York Family Judge Karen Lupuloff.
NYPD Detective Wilfredo Acevedo testified at a hearing earlier this month that the 13-year-old, who has been charged, he said during an interview that he and the two other guys in the Morningside Park, and on the evening of Dec. 11, with the other two guys tried to rob the Majors, and knifed her when she was trying to get them to stop it.
Acevedo said the 13-year-old saw one of the guys in the group to seize the Major, from behind, while another boy, cut her with a cross stitch on the move.”

A second suspect was arrested and interrogated, but was released hours later as police searched the building what’s going to happen to him.
The police are on the lookout for a third suspect believed to be involved in as it is to post a picture of a teenager on Dec. 20.

A private memorial was held in a Major’ high-school alma mater in Virginia on Saturday.
