The travel advice of the ministry of Foreign Affairs for Kenya after the elections adjusted because of the potential for unrest, riots and civil commotion increases.
The advice is to demonstrations, political meetings and protests to avoid. This can suddenly be violent. It is further recommended to keep abreast of the latest developments via the news and information from the embassy via Facebook and Twitter.

The Kenyan opposition has, however, on the basis of sources from the election commission demanded that its leader, Raila Odinga is elected president. From preliminary results, however, shows that the sitting president Uhuru Kenyatta Kenyatta over at head.
