Navy prosecutors are still pursuing murder charges, Special Operations Chief, Edward Gallagher, even after the a-bomb testimony on Thursday, a Navy co-worker, who confessed that he was the one to kill the teenager, an Islamic State fighter.
Special Operator 1st Class Corey Scott, SEAL Team Seven, they, the witnesses for the prosecution, in the context of an immunity agreement, said the court, that he shall be “a thumb on his TT-tube, until he ceased to breathe,” admitted that he was asphyxiated in the prison, in spite of saying that he saw a Gallagher cross and the boy in the back of his neck.

When cross-examined by the defense, Scott said he had to kill the fighter, because he knew that he was going to die anyways.”
“I just wanted to save him from what is about to happen to him next,” Scott said, referring to the alleged torture by the Iraqi kidnappers.
Gallagher served nine months in jail awaiting trial in the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old ISIS fighter in Iraq-in march of 2017. He has also been accused of shooting the two civilians in the same year, and opening fire on the crowd, all of the claims, which he vociferously denied.
Gallagher’s lawyer, Tim Parlatore, said at a news conference that he expected a not guilty verdict,” following Scott’s testimony.
The officers of justice, the treatment of Scott as a hostile witness, saying, that he did not know that he was the one to choke out the ISIS fighter in the pre-trial interviews, and it is only because he has an immunity deal, and don’t want to see his colleague go to jail.
Gallagher, a decorated naval officer with 19 years of service, who earned a Bronze Star with V for Valor, twice, in a Meritorious Unit Commendation, and a trio of navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals, and was accompanied by his wife and two children out of the court room on Thursday.

“We have been patiently waiting for the truth to come out, and we’ve heard a lot of people who, in his book, and to have conspired for over two years, from my husband, so to hear that someone finally had the courage to stand up for the truth, it was refreshing, after so many years,” Andrew Gallagher said at a news conference.
“This is probably the worst-case scenario of what you can expect as a military family for almost 20 years,” she added.
