A woman reported that her friend, who is expecting a baby, which is the name they picked is not as unique as they thought, and it’s not too good.
For the parents-to-be, choosing a name for their newborn is a serious matter, but some people take the task much more seriously than others.
A woman recently told an awkward encounter she had with her pregnant girlfriend, who turned out to be the “unique” name they have chosen for her daughter.
“My girlfriend is expecting her first baby later this year. As I am very interested in baby names, I asked her if she had something in mind. She said that she wanted something unique and is planning on using Aurora,” the friend wrote on Mumsnet.

However, the friend response of the mother to choice is probably not what they had hoped for.
“I said that the Aurora is a beautiful name, but has increased tremendously in popularity over the last few years and is now in the top hundred,” the woman wrote.
The mother was apparently not happy with her friend’s entrance, and refused to believe that her choice was, as usual, as the wife suggested.
“My friend seemed irritated and told me that it is a very rare name with only a few born each year, so I changed the subject,” the woman wrote.
The woman asked: “she was his “unreasonable” for pointing out the name of the popularity.

“Yes, you are mad at her when talking baby names you smile nod and make reassuring sounds, not actual opinions,” one person wrote.
“Unless someone asks for point blank honest opinion then I think it’s better if you keep your mouth zipped. To be honest, I don’t know why people get so caught up in how common/uncommon a name is,” another person wrote.
“Because they specifically said that they would be chosen because of its uniqueness, I don’t think it was very unreasonable of you to report it,” someone else said.
Or the woman should have shared her thoughts with her friend, she was not wrong about the popularity of the name Aurora.

Despite the fact that the name of Sleeping Beauty, Nameberry listed as the sixth most popular girl’s name in 2018.
This is not the first time someone has gotten angry about others’ disapproval for their baby’s name.
