A mother from California claims that, after the airline changed its seating assignment, and they wanted to charge her an extra $75, so that she could sit next to her toddler son.
The alleged incident happened in her flight with Sun Country Airlines out of Providence, R. I., to San Diego. She said that if the ticket was booked through a third-party web site, has been chosen for the two seats next to each other.
The mother, who is only in her name, Aliss, according to news outlets, claimed that when she got to the airport, and her closet in the order have been modified, the ABC 10 reports. When she tried to get her seat changed, and the airline, which is reportedly called her an additional $75.

“I can’t make those payments,” she said to ABC 10. “What else can we do? And she said, ” well, for $22 I can take you on as a row of back and front of each and every other. I said, ” that’s not my problem. He is still sitting next to me.”

Fortunately, one of the passengers agreed to give up their seat so that Aliss could sit next to her son. Her problems were far from over. Aliss claims that her flight had been delayed for more than 9 hours. According to her, the airline’s passengers a $200 travel vouchers for the delay.

In a statement to Fox News, a spokesperson for Sun Country Airlines, said: “We offer our sincere apologies for the recent experience with Sun Country. This was not the level of service that we would like to offer, as it is our policy that children will always be seated with an adult on the route is free of charge.
“We have followed up with our airport staff in order to ensure that our policies are carried out correctly. We have issued a full refund to the customer for the costs incurred by the office in connection with the assigned seating. We were also able to arrange for two of the seats were assigned next to each other on her flight back to holland.
