A tattooed, hoverboard riding, beardless Santa Claus? Some of the respondents in a recent survey think that this Christmas icon needs an upgrade.
The survey, which was carried out by logo-making company GraphicSprings in October and November, uses Google surveys to collect responses from 400 people in the U.S. and U. K, ask them how they would “rebranding” or the modernisation of the jolly fellow. From there, 4000 people across the two countries then voted on the most popular suggestions, the company said.
‘RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER,’ CHARLIE BROWN ‘ AND OTHER HOLIDAY CLASSICS SPARKS CONTROVERSY

As for Santa’s appearance, 20 percent of the respondents said that he would have tattoos, 21 percent said that he would go on a diet, while 18 percent said Santa should “get a new hairstyle.”
About 11 percent said the santa Claus must be a woman, while about 17 percent said that he would be gender-neutral.
Slightly more than 70 percent said Kris Kringle must remain man.
