For the third time in three months, a North-South-Wales, Australia board has voted to keep one of the most beautiful beaches clothing optional in spite of the increasingly notorious for a “sex pest hot spot”.

The police have tried for years to crack down on adult antics along the aisles of the Byron Bay coastline which is Tyagarah Beach, following frequent reports of lewd behavior, public sex and masturbation.

But the locals say that the only answer is to change the rules and make it illegal nude.

Byron Shire Council confirmed Tyagarah Beach “clothing optional” status yesterday, but did not take a decision to install $10,000 worth of close-circuit security cameras in the parking lot as a preventive measure.
