The Latest: Prep school alumni action on report abuse

CONCORD, N. H. – The Latest on sexual abuse in New Hampshire prep school (local times):

3:40 pm

Alumni from a prominent New Hampshire prep school are calling for a thorough investigation into decades of sexual misconduct.

The Phillips Exeter Alumni for the Truth and the Healing or the PATH says it wants details on administrators that wrong abuse claims.

The group, the call follows two reports released by the school in the last month, in which 11 former members of staff are accused of sexual misconduct involving students. The reports also found that the school management has not responded to complaints of abuse and, in several cases, never took the complaints in the personnel files.

PATH wants the school to all data collected in the investigation of an independent third party, an inquiry into the cases of student-on-student abuse, and more details from the administrators, which will not properly handle abuse claims.

The school said it would review the group’s concerns.

The group has an online petition with at least 275 signatures.
