The police in Los Angeles and Wichita, Kansas, confirmed in statements e-mailed Saturday to the arrest of the 25-year-old Tyler Barriss. The police have no additional information about the costs.

The authorities have not released the name of the man who was killed Thursday in Wichita, Kansas. Family members identified him as 28-year-old Andrew Finch.
