PHOENIX – The Latest on the shooting of an Arizona state trooper (all times are local):
An Arizona man who helped a wounded state trooper says that he is scared and confused when he saw the three bodies and pulled over on a highway.
The authorities say that another motorist had just shot and killed a man who wounded Soldier Edward Andersson early Thursday on Interstate 10 west in Phoenix.
Brian Schober told The Associated Press on Friday that he does not think twice about stopping when the driver flagged him down.
He used Andersson the radio to call for help and tried to get the support of the piston.
The injured men were both on the sidewalk, along with a mortally wounded woman who had been ejected from the attacker’s vehicle.
The authorities say they have not determined a motive for the attack. The names of the people involved have not been released.
