‘The KNVB has Landzaat on the eye as a second assistant Orange’
The KNVB has Denny Landzaat on the eye as the successor to Dick Advocaat, who last month stopped as the second assistant coach Danny Blind in the Dutch national team.
Technical director Hans van Breukelen has the 40-year-old Landzaat polled for the function, reports The Telegraaf on Monday. The 38-fold international would positively responded to the question of the ex-keeper.
The former midfielder of Ajax, Willem II, AZ, Wigan Athletic and Feyenoord is currently coach of AZ under-17. That function he can combine with the job as a second assistant.
The KNVB is looking for two new members for the technical staff of the Dutch national team, as first assistant to Marco van Basten by the end of this year, wants to leave Orange to get started in FIFA.
Van Breukelen acknowledges errors in negotiations with Gullit
Ruud Gullit was in the first instance, the choice Of Breukelen, the netherlands as a successor of a Lawyer, who in August moved to Fenerbahçe. Gullit and the Dutch fa (KNVB) there were, however, partly because Of Breukelen his former team-mate had not told that Van Basten will leave.
The technical director would prefer for the upcoming international matches of the Dutch on 7 and 10 October against belarus and France clarity about the new assistants.
