The Jane van Sergio Herman sinks in the list of best restaurants in the world
The restaurant the Jane of the Dutch top chef Sergio Herman in Antwerp is twenty places dropped in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
Herman (46) last year was still the best entry in the list. He came in on place 54, but is now dropped to 74th place.
The Jane has been awarded with two Michelin stars. In the last issue of the Michelins he got a third star. Previously, he was the owner of the restaurant Oud Sluis in Zeeland, which, however, three stars in his possession.
There are still two other Dutch chefs in the list: Jonnie Boer of De Librije (last year at spot 38), and Richard Ekkebus of Amber in Hong Kong (in 2016, place-20). They are not in the list of place 51 to 100, which probably means that both of the chefs in the top 50.
The restaurant Osteria Francescana, in the Italian city of Modena was last year on the first spot in the list.
The full list of The’World’s 50 Best Restaurants will be on Wednesday, april 5, announced. Tuesday, march 28 place 51 to 100 to the outside.
