MANCHESTER, N. H. – Researchers are looking to the woods behind a New Hampshire apartment complex in connection with the 1980 disappearance of a woman.
Officials say a tip has led them to search in Manchester, and in the case of the 25-year-old Denise Daneault.
On the evening of June 8, 1980, Daneault went to a private social club and never returned.
The divorced mother of two lived in the same street as the other woman who disappeared in 1981.
Denise Beaudin was the girlfriend of a man suspected of killing her and others during the use of many names in multiple states. He went by Bob Evans in 1981, but researchers have determined that his real name was Terry Peder Rasmussen.
Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeffery Strelzin said that there does not seem to be any connection between the disappearances.
