The French jihadist Peter Cherif, also known as Abu Hamza, on Sunday morning extradited to France. He is suspected of complicity in the attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in 2015.
Cherif was earlier this month arrested in the East African country of Djibouti.
“He escaped from French justice, but he will have to give account”, tweeted the French minister of the Interior, Christophe Castaner.
The man is in addition to the attack on the magazine also shared responsibility held for the murder of an agent in a suburb of Paris, and the hostage from the jewish supermarket Hyper Cacher. It came to seventeen people to life.
