A customer at a 7-Eleven store in Virginia and shot two of the suspects, who were allegedly trying to steal from the business early Thursday morning, police said, according to the report.

The customer will have killed any of the suspects were injured, and the other at 2 in the morning, attempted robbery in richmond, Richmond, va, WTVR-TV reported. Both of the suspects were armed, according to the report.

The customer, who the witnesses will be referred to as a “hero” and had a concealed carry permit, police said, according to the Norfolk’s WTKR-TV.

“A citizen, who had been in the store and it is in the possession of a legal weapon, confronted, and ultimately shot-the accused,” as a Virginia Beach Police spokesman said.

The injured suspect, has life-threatening injuries, WTVR reported.

Police believe the same suspects may be linked to the other three 7-Eleven robberies that happened overnight, WTKR reported.

A third person was arrested outside the 7-Eleven.

Last month, a Virginia Beach city employee’s start a petition to get government officials to carry guns on the job and after a gunman fatally shot a 12 city employees on a local, municipal, city, in May.
