The Handmaid’s Tale gets the main prize at TCA Awards
The drama series The Handmaid’s Tale Saturday at the presentation of the Television Critics Association Awards won the award for ‘program of the year’.
Also won the series, which revolves around a dystopian America in which women as property to be given, the prize for best drama series. The Handmaid’s Tale has also been nominated for thirteen Emmy awards, including for best drama series and best female lead (Elisabeth Moss).
The series of Atlanta received the awards for best komedieserie and acting performances (by actor Donald Glover) in a comedy.
The drama series This is Us was awarded in the category ‘best new program’ and the ‘heritage award’ (for a possible already finished a show or series that has meant a lot to American society, red.) went to the komedieserie Seinfeld.
