In October 2018, with a Change.org the petition, organised by our Halloween & Costume Association (HCA) national headlines in the midst of a quest to officially move Halloween to the signature of the parties (especially the trick-or-treating on the last Saturday of October of each year.

In its latest statement, the HCA recognises that, although they have not yet been able to formally change the date of Halloween, they have launched a new initiative called the “National Trick or Treat Day, in co-operation with the National Day, the City is a y, and the “other brand.”

“We have listened to everyone’s feedback on since a petition has been launched in 2018, and will see this as an opportunity to really honor what the Halloween is a celebration of self-expression, and unity. While we are still of the opinion that there is an end-of-October, Saturdays, taking into account the promotion of safety and security, and to increase the fun, this year will be the launch of a national initiative focused on the improvement of the Halloween we all know and love,” is an update of the petition and reads.

“The national Trick or Treat Day is held annually on the last Saturday in October, families across the country are able to participate in the community parades, and throw away the parties and to choose a day to Trick or Treat,” and the HCA and went on. “We will start for #ALLoween campaign in support of the day of the celebration of the National Trick or Treat Day AND the time-honored traditions of Halloween is on the 31st of October.

“With your support, we will create a safer, last longer, big party for ALL of the National Trick or Treat Day is official!”

The HCA has allegedly been updated to the petition, the news of the first National Trick or Treat Day on Oct. 23, just a couple of days prior to the date of the event, according to the Romper.

Many of those who signed the petition felt that the National Trick or Treat Day would be for the spookiest day of the year, “it is much safer and more fun for people of all ages, but the criticisms of social media is increasingly skeptical of the project.

“#NationalTrickOrTreatDay (aka “ALLoween” is annoying, made official, and it can kiss my a–,” one Twitter user said. “Do you want free candy on 10/31, Halloween. If you are correct on the last Saturday of October, I will not answer them, but if I do that, and you get a grape tomato.”

“We already have #NationalTrickOrTreatDay, it’s called Halloween and it is Oct. 31,” another agreed. “Hey, Joe, how about you help us 10/31 for a federal holiday, in lieu of the support of this date, you have to change is nonsense. Not one of us that really love Halloween, like this,” she added, referencing how the candy bar from the brand’s previously-expressed support for the shiftiing of the holiday date.

Representatives from the HCA and the City, the ies were not immediately available for more information on the National Trick-or-Treat Day.
