The governor of Puerto Rico announced the resignation after mass protests

The governor, Ricardo Rosselló and Puerto Rico, has resigned his post announced that, after nearly two weeks of massive protests on the island. The politician refused to be last weekend, are still in the process.

Rosselló on Wednesday, during a speech on television indicating that he was on the 2nd of August his role is put down. The current minister of Justice of the united states territory, Wanda Vázquez, will replace him.

Rosselló was hoping to have the money to satisfy, due to the leadership of his political party, and are not to be made available for a second term. On Sunday, he asked the Puerto Ricans have to be forgiven.
