New York city police announced Wednesday that they have arrested a gang member is seen in a viral video of dumping a bucket of water on it and a uniformed police officer.

The arrest comes after the widely-publicized footage of the incident showed the uniformed POLICE officers get drenched with water as they walked on a Brooklyn street. A man approached one of the officers, and then pour a bucket of water over his head. The officers do not engage in the individuals and seemed to be purposely ignoring the situation.

“Actions such as we’ve seen in the videos, it’s short, it will NEVER be tolerated in this city,” the NYPD’s chief of Department, Terence Monahan, are to be found on Twitter.

Police on Wednesday said they arrested one person wanted in connection to a similar interaction that occurred in the Harlem area of new york city.

That contention — which is, like, the, Brooklyn, was captured on video and quickly went viral — a person winds up in a bucket, which hits the officer in the head while he was arrested. Groups of jeering onlookers can be heard reacting as if others are looking to splash the officers with the waters.

Prior to the announcement of the arrest in this case, the police have released images of three people they are seeking in connection with, necessary for the assault, and criminal mischief.

POLICE officials have called the video “reprehensible.”
