President Trump’s former personal lawyer, John M. Dowd told Fox News that the Department of justice watchdog report on the FBI actions in the Clinton-E-Mail investigation was not nearly hard enough on the fired FBI Director James Comey.

In the report Thursday, Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz released called Comey “undue” and by way of derogation from the “well-established Department policy.”

Dowd told Fox News in an E-Mail, “The clear evidence of his usurpation of power, violation of his oath of office and material false information to the public and the Congress, in order to conceal justified his own misconduct, a criminal referral to the Comey behavior. The result is ” no bias was ridiculous. The OIG findings support the President, the decision to fire Comey.”

He told Fox News that the Deputy General Prosecutor Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Robert Müller “allowed their relationship with Comey in the years [to] blind you to his obviously frightening. I was shocked that Mueller decided not to investigate the President, the Prosecutor from the investigation of the President, who, you will recall, was ‘not investigated’, according to the sworn testimony of Comey. As a result, the authenticity and legality of the Müller study is in serious question and should not be honored.”

Trump even said Fox News’ Steve Doocy on “Fox & Friends”, “I think Comey was the cave of the leader of this whole robber.”

Letters newly acquired by Fox News, which were written in the summer and autumn of 2017, revealed Dowd and others, trump’s lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, had reservations deeply about Comey, the credibility of the main witness, called witness #1’s, in the ongoing Russia-arrangement of the probe, which began shortly after Trump Comey fired on 9. In a blistering 13-page letter hand-delivered to Müller elaborated on June 27, Kasowitz his concerns about Comey, he tables as a “Machiavelli,” according to the former FBI Director testified before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Neither the justice Department nor the office of special counsel commenting on the letters when contacted by Fox News.

Fox News reported on Richman’s rare that the approval for special employees of the government, a distance of Comey in April.

Fox News reached Richman for a comment on the new OIG report, but he did not respond.

The new E-Mail Fox News, Dowd called Comey relationship with Richman “dishonest” and “a complete disregard and destruction of the normal processes, we rely on the rules of the FBI/justice Department.”

In the letter, Dowd wrote at 1. September 2017 to Rosenstein, there was a direct request for a “Federal Grand Jury investigation of Former FBI Director, James B. Comey.” Dowd wrote, “It seems the Update was a cover-up is clouded in the place and the reputation of the FBI and the justice Department are, and will hang in the balance.”

In particular, Dowd charged that in the letter, “Director Comey for his unauthorized, abusive, and unfair statements of the Clinton-e-mail-the study designed was carried out three months prior to the clearly superficial and inadequate investigation.”

Fox News learned that the DOJ acknowledged Dowd’s letter but took no further action.
