The former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler has been admitted to the hospital after reportedly suffering a self-inflicted knife wound.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police department confirmed to Fox News that officers responded to the rocker’s Studio City, California, home at around 6:30 p.m. PT on Thursday on a call of a possible suicide attempt. When they arrived, officers found that no crime had been committed and it is considered to be in the incident of a medical emergency only. Adler was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Representative Adler, 54, did not immediately respond to a Fox News request for a comment. It is unclear at this time if the incident was a suicide attempt or an accident.

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, the police arrived at Adler’s home, and discovered that he’d somehow put herself in the stomach. None of the other parties, shall be deemed to be engaged in the story.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Adler is a member of the famous rock band in 1985. However, it’s the audience that is struggling with a drug addiction, ultimately it got him kicked out of the band in the 1990’s. The people reports that he could join the band and after signing a contract saying that he would have to refrain from the use of the drug, but was then fired again later that year as a result of their addiction.

He has appeared in during the 2008 season of the reality show “Celebrity Rehab,” featuring in the lead role of Dr I look forward to and is featured in the spin-off, “Sober House.” He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of the group, in spite of the fact that have been kicked out of more than two decades before.
