Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, was wrong to compare US detention centers on the southern border with the Holocaust, concentration camps, “The Five” unanimously on Tuesday.
The freshman Democrat made headlines with the shocking comment on Monday night, during an Instagram for Live transmission. “That is exactly what they are. They are concentration camps,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the video.
“It was disturbing and wrong corresponds to the unparalleled evil of what was said in the Holocaust,” co-host Dana Perino.
Co-Moderator Juan Williams called Ocasio-Cortez-comments “bad choice” and “bad design.”
