The FBI clashed with the DOJ about possible ‘bias’ of the source for monitoring guarantee: McCabe-page texts

Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe makes a sensational statement on his book tour; reaction from former National Security Council spokesman Michael Anton and Isaac Wright, a partner with Forward-Solution-strategy group.

Only nine days before the FBI’s Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to ensure requested to monitor top Trump campaign aide, bureau officials, a fight with a senior justice Department officials, had “continuing concerns” about the “possible bias” of a Central source, the application, in accordance with internal SMS-messages, the of Fox News.

Carter page, has not been charged with wrongdoing, despite more than a year of Federal monitoring, and he has sued, numerous actors-including the Democratic National Committee (DNC) — the defamation claims, he worked with Russia.

“OI [Office of Intelligence] has now wrote a robust explanation again, all of the possible bias of the chs [confidential human source] in the package,” Lisa page McCabe on Oct. 12, 2016. “Don’t know what the disability is, unlike Stu’s concerns.”

It is unclear whether the confidential source in question was a Steele or a different individual. “Stu” was an obvious reference to Stuart Evans, the DOJ National Security Division deputy assistant attorney general. In a previously excavated and as-unredacted text message, former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok Lisa page texted that he was “Currently struggling with Stu for this FISA” in late 2016.

“Strong operational need to before Monday, if at all possible, which means, ct-tomorrow,” page added. “I have communicated to you and the boss the green light for the Stu earlier, and only one email sent Stu ask where things were. This could be a high-level push. Keep up to date.”


Minutes later, sent another urgent text McCabe: “If I don’t hear back from Stu in an hour, I will call to say your name, you want to know where things are, so long as that’s okay with you.”

Did the FBI seek revenge against trump for the firing of James Comey?

To reports, the former FBI assistant director Chris Swecker responded that the FBI opened an investigation into whether President Trump was a Russian agent.

Oct. 14, 2016, page McCabe wrote, this time about a meeting with the White house.

“Just called,” McCabe said. “Apparently, the DAG [Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates] is now want to be there, and we want to host the DOJ. So we are setting that up now. … We will need much to Cohen’s views, before we meet with her. The better to lull him with her before the meeting. We must speak with one voice, if that is in fact the case.” (“Cohen” is likely to be then-Deputy CIA Director David Cohen.)

McCabe responded in the hour: “Thank you. I will reach out to David.” Oct. 19, page McCabe wrote that the “encounter with a WH Council at last.”

Neither Lisa page McCabe responded to Fox News’ inquiries about whether the meeting was designed to brief the White house on the FISA application, or other matter. Page and McCabe not riding is also a response to “Fox News” of inquiries about the DOJ concerns about the FISA application, or that the texts in connection with the Carter-side to guarantee application. Fox News has also reached out to the FBI and DOJ for comment.

The FISA amendment finally submitted by the FBI on Oct. 21, 2016, said, “The F. B. I. believes that [Carter] was the topic of the specific setting of the Russian government.”

The FBI went on to claim that Carter Page “officers established relationships with the Russian government officials, including the Russian secret service,” and that the FBI believed that “the Russian government, which is coordinating efforts with [Carter] page-and maybe also other persons in connection with the” trump campaign. Page, the FBI, the FISA court said, “in cooperation and collaboration with the Russian government.”
