Actress Juliette Lewis shows that she joined the cast of the ABC series “The Connors.”
David is back and this time he is to his “crayon” of a girlfriend with him. TVLine can confirm that Johnny Galecki will reprise his “Roseanne” the role of David in the ABC’s upcoming spin-off “of The Conners”. Also, Juliette Lewis is tapped to play David’s never-before-seen friend, Blue, who is his ex, Darlene, haughty, referred to in the last season of “Roseanne” revival “a piece of chalk.” The “Conners” stint is a reunion for the one-off “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” brothers and sisters Galecki and Lewis.
The dual casting news leaked Tuesday by Lewis himself on the social media. The Oscar-nominated actress — next seen in the HBO Jennifer Garner-fronted comedy “Camping” — also shared a picture of her and Galecki of the set. They duo are set to appear in an episode.

As previously reported, the 10-episode Roseanne Barr-less offshoot pick-up after a “sudden turn of events” (i.e. Roseanne Conner’s death) as “the Conners are forced to face the daily struggle of life in Lanford in a way they never have before.”
In addition to Gilbert, recurring series regular John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara and Jayden Rey. Maya Lynne Robinson, meanwhile, joins the cast as a DJ’s wife, Geena, replace, Xosha Roquemore. The switch is made for creative reasons.
“The Conners” is scheduled for the ABC debut on Tuesday, oct. 16, 8/7c.
