The classic Aston Martin DB5 from the James Bond films is on the auction block

In a classic Aston Martin DB5, who, in 1965, was specifically built to be some of the first James Bond film, will be sold at auction. That makes the auction house, RM Sotheby’s, which specializes in vintage cars, are known.

According to the auction house as it was in the car, in the last fifty years, and was in the possession of the three private property owners. RM, Sotheby’s estimates that the car will be between 4 and 6 million euro is the result. The auction is on the 15th of August, to be held in san francisco, in the state of California.

The car has been commissioned by film company Eon Productions and is equipped with all of the well-known features of the movies about the secret agent. For example, Ford retractable, sharp points, ties are broken, to cut it, the built-in machine guns, a bullet-proof rear window and a pivoting license plate number.

The instance itself is not used in the film, but it is an exact replica of the car driven by actor Sean Connery in the films Goldfinger and Thunderball. It is a vehicle that is put up for auction, it was used for promotional work around the film.
