The civil unrest in Puerto Rico, and the force of the several cruise ships to change their routes.

Royal Caribbean cancelled a stop in San Juan on at least two of the cruises, the influence of the passengers on the Empress of the Seas, and the Harmony of the Sea. Some passengers took to Twitter to complain, while others have praised the cruise line for the safety and security of their passengers, so take it seriously.

Residents of Puerto Rico, which is still struggling from the damage caused by Hurricane Maria, you are calling for the resignation of Gov. Ricardo Rossello, after the release of about 889 pages of private messages in which he allegedly used homophobic and misogynistic language, the Newsweek reported.

In a statement to Fox News, a spokesman for Royal Caribbean, commented on the recent cancellation saying, “Due to the ongoing civil unrest in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and we have canceled the Harmony of the Sea” – a call to old San Juan. Harmony is now on a trip to California. Maarten, its next scheduled port of call. To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and crew members is our highest priority.”

On Tuesday, the cruise line will be cancelled, and the Empress of the Seas’ call to San Juan as well.

A woman claiming to be a passenger on the cruise, took to Twitter to complain, saying, “(We) will be directed from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the virgin islands, British). And that’s just fine. But, the small star… the service was not that great. Now, after being on such a small boat for two days and now we are not going to go to the united states of america. Poor planning, alternative routes, & crap service that makes me feel sorry for all of this.”

Royal Caribbean has responded on Twitter, saying, “Oh, that’s Emily. Due to demonstrations in Old San Juan, we thought it would be best not to take our people to the present day. We are Sorry for the disappointment.”
