George Michael started out as half of Wham!, excelled in quite a few duets and also had a thriving solo career. A few classics in a row.
1. Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go
George Michael began his career as the songsmid of Wham!, the duo he formed with Andrew Ridgeley. After a somewhat gloomy beginning, with songs like Young Guns they pulled plenty of the map of the summer and energetic pop music. The beat is fresh from the drum machine, the double go from a kattenbelletje.

2. Last Christmas
Michael is busy together with his wife, Mariah Carey forever and always the Olympusberg of the good incorrect christmas carols.
3. Careless Whisper
With a heartbreaking describes itself, and dash conga planted George Michael, then still a member of Wham!, the seeds of his solo career. He wrote the number on his seventeenth, together with Wham!-fellow Ridgeley.
4. I’m Your Man
A year and a beard after Last Christmas saves Michael a new, more mature way. In 1996, he would be the number to record, but then solo.
5. I Knew You Were Waiting For Me (with Aretha Franklin)
His third single, but first hit and first Grammy Award in the post-Wham!-era, a duet with the Queen of Soul. In the video clip, recognize you Marvin Gaye. In his biography Bare told Michael that he bloednerveus was to Franklin to sing: “I knew Aretha the melody would take him wide would let in place. I tried to keep it simple.’
6. I Want Your Sex
The clip, with a naked or entirely naked like Kathy Jeung, when the girlfriend of George Michael, was on MTV only at night shown. Bizarre, because the song is just about monogamy. For the lovers: there are versions of nine and thirteen minutes.
The title track and second single – the first was ” I want Your Sex – Michael’s first solo album.
8. Freedom! ’90
Not to be confused with Freedom, a hit from Wham! (1984).
9. Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me (with Elton John)
It was originally a song by Elton John, but the duetversie exceeded the original from the first version, at Live Aid in 1985.
When the police are after him, in 1998, caught having sex in a public toilet, was this according to experts and fans Michaels reaction. The video begins as a parody on old German porn and culminates in two male police officers kiss each other. In terms of the middle finger to the whole world can count.
