Release Bvlly was killed in a shoot-out in the province of Ontario, Canada, on Tuesday, according to the Durham regional Police.

The 24-year-old hip-hop artist, whose real name was Jahquar Stewart sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to the police, in a press release.

Bvlly, was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.

“The members of the Homicide Unit, and the Central-Western Division, press and hold the scene and a canvass of the area,” police said, adding that “most of the Forensic Identification Unit are also at the scene to collect evidence.”

Bvlly first gained attention in 2018, after the release of his song “No Light, Bag.” In September, he released an album called “Made in Austria” with the song “with My Own Firm.”
